Conversations  Guide

Conversations collect and display the complete history of AI interactions across your organization, providing visibility into the User prompts and AI responses generated when working with AI models.
Conversations enable auditing, reviewing conversations, identifying risky or harmful activity, and help ensure compliance with organizational policies as well as government regulations.
WitnessAI supports multi-language interactions internally so your Policies and GuardRails can evaluate your AI data and protect your AI services as intended. Non-English text is not currently displayed as English in the Console. translated to English .

Step-by-Step Instructions

Filtering Conversations

  1. Access the Conversations page from the left-sidebar menu.
  1. You will see a list of recent conversations between Users and AI Applications.
  1. As explained in the Console & Settings section, use the Date Range picker to choose your preferred date range, and the Group drop-down to choose a Group of Users to review.
  1. Conversations can be sorted by the Prompt and Date & Time columns.
    1. Clicking on the head of these columns will display a pointer indicating an Ascending or Descending sort. Repeated clicking will cycle through Ascending and Descending sorted data.

Investigating Conversations

Consider a scenario: You are a team manager, and you want to review how your team uses AI.
You pick a Date Range and your Group, then have a look at a few Conversations.
Click on a Conversation to view the full details.
These 5 features are labeled on the screen below:
  1. Initial Prompt, Latest Intention, User Group, User Email, AI Application, Number of Prompts, and Date & Time (1).
  1. Page control (2) to step through every user prompt and AI response in the Conversation.
  1. View the complete Prompt (3) submitted by User.
  1. Hover over any Prompt, and the Analyze risk (3) link appears. Click it to show the Risk Analysis sidebar on the right side of the screen.
      • Risk Analysis: Details about the risk, which policy was triggered, and related categories.
  1. Triggered Policy: The name and a direct link to the related Policy (5).
      • Click on the Triggered Policy link to open and view that specific policy on the Policy page.
